I love doing cake smash sessions in my photo studio. These sessions have become increasingly popular in the last few years, and it's easy to see why - being such a fun, candid and memorable experience for children and parents alike.
When stepping into the cozy confines of the photo studio, you're greeted by a warm, minimal setup with boho touches. I like to use simple woods and textures to let the emotions shine through.
Before starting we do some photos without a cake. At this point siblings or parents have the option to be in the photos too! Once the cake enters we allow the baby to explore - touching and tasting gently. Inevitably they soon decide to dive right in and we embrace the messiness! Surfaces and props are designed to be easy to be clean so no worries about the mess here! Embracing the chaos we get lots of nice photos eating and playing!
